A very dedicated & passionate REALTOR® volunteer… Christopher served as our 2012 RAFV President, and over his tenure, he has chaired and/or served on all of our RAFV Standing & Special Committees & Task Forces. He has also served on a large number of State & National Committees, Involvement & Working Groups, Task Forces & PAG’s for IAR, NAR, WCR & CRS. Additionally, he served as the 2009 IL CRS Chapter President & the 2006 WCR Fox Valley Chapter President. Christopher’s vision, leadership and big picture REALTOR® community insight has helped to lead our Local REALTOR® Association to new heights and in exciting new directions.
In terms of his REALTOR® political action & involvement for the benefit of our industry, Christopher has been an RPAC Major Investor since 2006, is an RPAC “Golden R” / President’s Circle Member, and (in May of 2014) he became the first ever RAFV REALTOR® member to be inducted into NAR’s RPAC Hall of Fame in Washington D.C.
Within our 3 Tiered Organization, high level peer-to-peer appointments only go to those that prove dedicated, passionate & knowledgeable. He has received many such appointments as a result…
For NAR, he has served on their Executive Committee, Board of Directors, RPAC Disbursement Trustees, RPAC Fundraising Trustees, RPAC Major Investor Council, State & Local Campaign Services Trustees, Professional Development Committee, and others. For IAR, He has served on their Board of Directors, Executive Committee, RPIC (2017 Chair), RPAC Trustees (2011 & 2012 Chair), PP & GA MIG, Professional Standards, Bylaws, Strategic Planning Committees, RPAC Major Investor WG, Senior Housing WG, Governance TF, as the State Legislative Contact (SLC) for IL Sen. Karen McConnaughay, as well as many other appointments. Christopher is also a graduate of both the State & National Association of REALTORS® Leadership Academies, as well as that of the National Council of Residential Specialists.
In 2011, as RAFV President-Elect, Christopher reconstituted the association’s committees, and was hugely responsible for the launching of the RAFV Industry Relations Committee and the Committee’s “Caring for our Communities” Projects. Since its inception, this committee has helped to mobilize our Fox Valley REALTORS® to give back to our communities. Christopher has been working with his REALTOR® cohorts giving back across the Fox Valley, as well as at the State & National Levels.
Since then, he was able to spin off the Marketing & Membership Development Committee (which he Chairs), as well as being the catalyst to launch the Young Professionals Network (YPN) at RAFV.
In 2010, Christopher earned the RAFV “REALTOR® of the Year” honor, the IL Council of Residential Specialists “CRS of the Year” Award, and the IL Women’s Council of REALTORS® “Member of the Year” Award. In 2013, Christopher earned a National CRS “President’s Award”, the Fox Valley Women’s Council of REALTORS® “Member of the Year” honor, as well as 2 RAFV “President’s Awards”, in 2013 & 2015, and a NAR GREEN Resource Council “EverGREEN Award” in 2015. However, Christopher does not serve the REALTOR® community for such honors as these, he serves because He has a deep passion for the REALTOR® family and our Fox Valley & Illinois communities. His peers have merely chosen to recognize him as a result of his dedication & passion.
For the benefit of our industry’s grassroots, local association, and for our broker / owners & members at-large here in the Fox Valley… Christopher looks to continue to bring his vast experience, passion, knowledge & vision to the RAFV Board Room, and he asks for your support and vote in this election in order to continue impart his organizational insights which collectively compose our REALTOR® Association & the NAR family.
