About the Training Requirement
REALTORS® are required to complete ethics training of not less than 2 hours, 30 minutes of instructional time within three-year cycles. The training must meet specific learning objectives and criteria established by the National Association of REALTORS®.

The current three-year cycle will end Dec. 31, 2024.

Training may be completed through local REALTOR® associations or through another method, such as classroom courses, or online courses.

If you take an Ethics CE course through RAFV between January 1, 2022 and December 31, 2024 you will fulfill the NAR Code of Ethics Course requirement. If you have taken any Code of Ethics course through a provider other than RAFV please forward us your transcript for the course so that we may record this with NAR.

If you need to fulfill the NAR Code of Ethics Course requirement before December 31, 2024 you may take the online course through NAR’s website and the transcript will be sent to RAFV automatically upon completing the course. *Note: this is not a CE credit course.
